Chambers and Photographers team up to take photos of Marines in transition

Oceanside California– The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, US Chamber of Commerce Foundation Hiring Our Heroes, and Portraits For Patriots ™ work together to help local military families look their best as they transition into life civil.

This Friday, August 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce will transform its boardroom into a portrait studio for military personnel, spouses and Gold Star families leaving service. Celebrated San Diego Photographers Rich Soublet and Alex Kemp of Orange County to Convert the Oceanside Chamber Boardroom into a State-of-the-Art Portrait Studio for our Transition Service Members, Spouses and Families Gold Star. The United States Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program, headquartered in Washington, DC, encourages all transitioning service members, spouses and Gold Star families to raise their “mark” with a professional portrait when applying for education and employment. Colorado Springs-based Portraits For Patriots ™ portrait painters will be on hand with their mobile studio units for the 150 military personnel expected in transition.

The Hiring Our Heroes Fellows program is a premier workforce development program that places highly skilled and educated transitioning military personnel, veterans, military spouses and military caregivers with committed employers to them. to hire.
