Piers Morgan shared a mocking tweet about Meghan Markle amid the ongoing celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
As the monarch celebrates 70 years on the throne, members of the royal family have gathered for festive events, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Prince Louis, the four-year-old child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, was also pictured during the Jubilee celebrations.
On Twitter, Morgan shared a collage of images of Louis with his hands covering his ears, pulling a number of faces.
Alongside the photos, he tweeted: ‘Has Aunt Meghan arrived?
The joke drew mixed reactions from followers and other Twitter users, with some describing the former Hello Brittany presenter as “obsessed”.
“Five years later you are still obsessed,” one person wrote.
“You have to let go, it has become an unhealthy fad,” writes author Gerry Stergiopoulous.
“He’s ALWAYS talking about Meghan??? Hasn’t he learned his lesson yet?” another person wrote.
“Really, wow, you can’t give up. Sad sad man,” someone else commented.
Morgan has been a repeated critic of the Duchess of Sussex, including during a segment on Hello Brittany following Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Morgan has suggested he doesn’t believe Meghan’s claim to have had suicidal thoughts while a senior royal, part of a rant that has been condemned by viewers and co -presenter Alex Beresford.
Shortly after hitting the airwaves while being reprimanded by Beresford, Morgan quit the ITV talk show for good.
On several occasions, Morgan has also publicly described meeting Meghan shortly before she was introduced to Prince Harry.
He claims the two had gone out to eat and “got along brilliantly”, before she met the prince that same evening.
