With the early release of its product, Nextech is already gaining traction with Threedy Rooms, and existing Nextech customers can start offering this unique product with just one click. Recently, Lighting Plus – New Zealand’s largest specialty lighting store signed a 12-month contract to use 3D rooms after a successful proof of concept (POC) trial. Nextech AR will now convert over 300 of Lighting Plus’s best-selling SKUs into augmented reality models, allowing the retailer’s customers to view multiple lighting products, floor, wall and ceiling lighting items, by downloading just the photo of their room while shopping. on the site.

Nextech AR CTO, Nima Sarshar continues “With augmented reality, customers virtually try products inside their homes. For this to happen, customers need to be where the product is going to be placed (i.e. in their living room, kitchen, etc). However, there are also the reflection and research phases of the customer journey. In particular, the customer will lose the ability to place and view the products when they are outside the room. Like us, and other pioneering companies like Amazon realized that customers would like to be able to continue to shop “out of home”, be able to get feedback from friends and family, and also be able to try out multiple products online. same time. With the release of 3D Rooms, we are solving all of these issues. “

Evan Gappelberg, CEO of Nextech AR commented, “This product launch is another building block of Nextech and adds another source of recurring monthly revenue to our business.” He continues, “Since our acquisition of on June 25, 2021, we have worked hard to bring an incredible suite of AR solutions to market, so it’s very gratifying to be able to announce this new product launch, and that we already have Lighting Plus and others as paying customers. The enthusiasm of our new customers is acceptable, and the enthusiasm of our sales team grows with each new product release and each customer victory. We think we’re just starting out with what we see as a decades-long mega trend towards transforming everything into 3D / AR. “

As previously mentioned, Nextech AR is at the start of an important period of growth and transition for its AR business, with a clear vision to build a unified platform containing a suite of augmented reality solutions for its customers. With 3D Rooms, Nextech AR is executing this vision and will continue to develop and add AR offerings – all designed to interact seamlessly and be available to new and existing customers. In addition, 3D Rooms is offered as a self-service subscription-based SaaS platform, also running on the company’s strategic initiative to develop and launch the first SaaS platforms to market. for augmented reality.
