The National Testing Agency has mentioned the photograph and signature guidelines and instructions related to the UGC NET 2021 admission card that applicants should check.
NEW DELHI- The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon issue the UGC NET admission card in online mode for the exam to be held October 6-8 and October 17-19, 2021. Applicants should check the photography specification that they need to take the UGC NET 2021 admission card with them. It is mandatory that the photograph that candidates bring with them to the UGC NET 2021 examination center be taken from October 1, 2020.

The photograph must bear the candidate’s name and the date it was taken and it must be clearly visible. The candidate is advised to have with him at least 6 to 8 photographs as well as the UGC NET admission card. Signatures must not be forged as this will result in the cancellation of the candidate’s candidacy.
Key points related to the photo to paste on the attendance sheet
The photo that must be pasted on the attendance sheet must be similar to the one uploaded on the application form and it must be the same as on the UGC NET admission card.
If in the future it is detected that the candidate uploaded someone else’s photo or signature, strict action will be taken against the candidate.
The candidate’s photo to be pasted on the UGC NET 2021 exam attendance sheet must be without glasses or cap. Glasses are only allowed if the candidate uses them regularly. Additionally, Polaroid and computer generated photographs are not permitted. If the photograph is also distorted, action will be taken against the candidate.
Another important point that candidates taking the UGC NET exam is that they should not take any certified photographs with them.
What to do in the event of a discrepancy in the UGC NET Admit Card 2021?
Once the applicants have downloaded the NTA UGC NET admission card and find an anomaly in it such that the photo and signature are not similar to those shown on the NET admission card and confirmation page, then in such a case, applicants should contact the NTA helpline number between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm. In such cases, candidates would be allowed to sit for the UGC NET 2021 exam for the December 2020 and June 2021 sessions and the NTA will take the necessary steps to make the necessary changes to the file later.
